I completed a BSc in Geological Sciences (University of Leeds) and an MSc in Structural Geology with Geophysics (University of Leeds) undertaking a research thesis on the intrusive igneous complex of the Faroe-Shetland Basin in conjunction with EON Ruhgras. Upon graduating I began working for a structural geology consultancy before returning to the University of Leeds to undertake my PhD focusing on the volcanic development and petreloum system of the Faroe-Shetland Basin, NE Atlantic.

My PhD focuses on the application of 3D seismic data and seismic attributes to study the emplacement and evolution of sill complexes in the Faroe-Shetland Basin, NE Atlantic. I also work on regional petroleum sytstem modelling of the Faroe-Shetland Basin with a focus on uncertainty analysis and the incorporation of igneous intrusions.

Conference Presentations:

  • Insights Into the Influence of Rift Evolution on the Emplacement and Distribution of a Sill Complex, Faroe-Shetland Basin, Northeast Atlantic (2015), AAPG ACE, Conf. poster.
  • Sill Facies identification and its Implication for the Emplacement of Sill Complexes, Faroe-Shetland Basin, NE Atlantic Margin (2014), TSG Annual Conference, Conf. poster.
